Work on interesting problems while building next-gen lending platform

Digital lending is one of the key directions of fintech software development. The major enhancements it is targeted at:

• involving new audiences of borrowers,
• using omnichannel to target new points of touch,
• employing intelligent algorithms,
• using automation technology and AI for underwriting processes,
• ensuring uninterrupted customer journey and faster approvals.

Lending platforms enable fintech businesses to use digital technologies to automate and accelerate the loan decisioning process while reducing costs and delivering exceptionally user-friendly solutions. Using machine learning in lending enables to streamline the processes, decrease the possibility of mistakes, accelerates the loan approval time and receiving money by the borrower, thus enhancing customer experiences and reducing costs.

We would love to hear if you

• Have a penchant for solving complex and interesting problems
• Worked in startup like environment with high levels of ownership and commitment
• Have demonstrated experience in at least some of the following areas: machine learning, model building and algorithm development, building and scaling very large data processing platforms using distributed computing technologies, transactional systems and data persistence using RDBMS, NoSQL data stores and data lakes, etc.
• Have the farsightedness it takes to look at business problems critically from more than one perspective.
• Have the capability to craft object-oriented models and design data structures, implement business logic and data models with suitable class design.
• Have ability to break-down larger/fuzzier problems into smaller ones in the scope of the product

You will 

• Contribute to evolving the technical direction of digital lending platform and play a critical role in design and development. Drive discussions to create/improve product, process and technology.
• Research, design and code, troubleshoot and support. What you create is also what you own.
• Be able to broaden your technical skills and work in an environment that thrives on creativity, efficient execution, and product innovation.

We want to adopt a reactive architecture with microservices, Docker, and Amazon ECS. We currently use Python and Django, but expect Java to be the primary language for the next-gen lending platform that we are starting to build now. Having said that, we want to use the right tool (you choose) for the right problem.
