Full Stack Trainer & Developer - Front end (Javascript & React JS)

Responsibilities (also find this short video explaining about the role)

You will have two responsibilities:

Front End Developer Program Lead

1. Creating and iterating project-focused training content intended for delivery in the classroom, web-based and blended learning environments
2. Evaluation of student submissions and Code reviews
3. Build labs and practical assignment projects for students
4. Manage the lab and practical sessions of students
5. Delivering and/or facilitating training in classroom settings
6. Personal guidance and mentorship to students during office hours
7. Gathering internal knowledge and training requirements for both technical and role-based topics
8. Contributing to the strategy for scale and logistics

Member of Technical Staff at Great Learning

1. Develop new user-facing features to ensure learning outcomes
2. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
3. Evaluate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them
4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
5. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

• Must have: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Javascript frameworks - React JS (preferred, but AngularJS will also do)
• Prior experience teaching or training groups is preferred
• Knowledge of MVC (Model View Controller) architecture, and various design patterns
• Should be familiar with RESTful and SOAP APIs, and web services
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and interactive web application development
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, Agile development, and DevOps from a software development perspective
