The Role

Work on the team as a Software Engineer to design and construct performant infrastructure wrangling contact-centric data for our identity resolution databases. All numbers are in the billions and trillions, and the tech is hot off the press!

The team is primarily focused on enabling internal and external customers to gain access to our various sources of data, building client libraries and powering integrations. This involves integrating with APIs and data sets to create coherent representations of the data to provide access for our customers, both internal and external.

Eligibility and Must Haves

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• 2+ years of engineering and development experience in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding and experience developing in the JVM
• You have a solid mathematical foundation
• Understanding of databases and some differences of each
• Experience with a variety of databases  (SQL, NoSQL, In-Memory, Searchable, etc)
• Familiarity with Linux and CLI scripting
• Git and AWS familiarity
• Bonus Points for Machine Learning and Computer Vision course work

Responsibilities

• Be a hungry-to-learn teammate on the team
• Work with large datasets and implement algorithms that improve the quality and usefulness of our data
• Help design, build, test, deploy and maintain systems using JVM based languages, focusing on Java
• Aggregate and normalize dirty contact-centric data
• Assist to build and maintain a complex SOA where requests per second scale to 1000s requests/sec
• Use Big Data Tools to process large amounts of data (Cassandra, HBase, Spark, Kafka, etc)
• Assist to expose data and tools to internal teams through APIs and libraries
• Apply best practices to ensure quality and security as you build
